The Look

Somewhat of an oddity in San Francisco's local music landscape, the eclectic East Bay quartet known as THE LOOK is a band with one simple goal in mind: to rock. They're doing what so many bands have seemingly forgotten how to do. By cranking it up really high, going right after the audience and checking all pretence and would-be swagger at the door, they seem incredibly out of place in a scene made up almost entirely of inept, trashy bands who can't decide whether they want to perform or mope. They don't rely on any garage scene credibility. They aren't friends with any Oakland hipsters. They're not a metal band out of the depths of Contra Costa County. What they are is a fully functional, highly schooled Rock'N'Roll outfit. Yes, you want some.
